How does Global Neighborhood Thrift & Vintage work toward their goals of healing the world and saving the planet in Spokane? They offer pathways to employment for our neighbors who came to Spokane as refugees. This looks like job training and pay checks for people who are working hard to rebuild their lives in a new country. A job at GN Thrift not only provides income, it also gives in-depth training, a local reference, a schedule that accommodates ESL classes and a community of support.

They are also passionate about doing everything they can to help save the planet. Every day they keep hundreds of items from going to the landfill by giving them a second life. They work hard to recycle donated items that cannot be resold and they’re always striving to grow their recycling program.
